摘要
Considerable economic damage is caused by biofilms on material surfaces originating when materials are in contact with aqueous biological systems. Therefore, (macro) molecular interfacial reactions at the interface between material surface and biological system are of basic interest for the development of advanced materials. Recently, the classic Wilhelmy balance method and the dynamic contact angle analysis have been successfully applied on initial interfacial reactions of surface-modified biomaterials.
