摘要
Modern comprehensive occupational health programs involve several integrated activities, all involving detailed data collection and analysis. Comprehensive data management systems gradually are becoming available to smaller businesses and to larger groups that do not choose internal development. Some of these systems were originally developed by a specific company for internal use, thus have the drawback that they generally are attuned to the problems of a specific industry type. Other systems have been developed to be modular in operation and easily adaptable to the specific needs of the user. The article discusses such systems, collection and management of data, data correlation, and other aspects of computerized medical surveillance programs.
