The methods of DTA and free oscillations after K. Schmieder and K. Wolf have been used in the investigations of thermal properties of mass-polymerized copolymers of 1,4-di(methacryloyloxymethyl)naphthalene and divinylbenzene containing 20, 50 and 80 mole-% of the last comonomer. Due to a high degree of cross-linking, all the copolymers under study have been thermally resistant up to a temperature of 300 degree C. Copolymers prepared from equimolar mixtures of comonomers differ in the characteristics of the glass transition from that of the remaining two copolymers, which is probably due to its more ordered structure.
