摘要
Elements of cellular mobile radio systems are reviewed. The cochannel interference reduction factor is used as a design criterion and the signal-to-interference ratios are predicted for different system configurations. The author describes the cellular mobile radio handoff mechanism with attendant algorithmic considerations, the traffic capacity, a procedure for splitting cells, and the near end to far-end ratio interference and its reduction.
