Specific Features of Development of Oil and Gas Deposits with Low Reservoir Properties.

Experimental investigations on displacement of gassed oil with water at different pressure values are carried out for cases of a porous medium consisting of pure quartz sand and of a mixture of 80% quartz sand and 20% clay. It is found that oil yield in the presence of clay decreases sharply. No clear oil variation factor depending on the value of pressure at the beginning of water injection into the stratum containing clayey fractions is observed.
