Addition of CaO increased the ratio of Ca(OH)//2 concentration to saturated Ca(OH)//2 concentration under the same ionic strength and shortened the peak time of the Ca(OH)//2 saturation ratio. The effect is influenced by impurities in C//3S or the coexistence of materials such as C//3A and/or C//4AF.
