With the implementation of primary measures for wet-bottom boilers and the termination of pilot tests for secondary denitrification, the Bewag has completed the first phase of the denitrification of its power plants. In the second phase, which will be concluded by 1990, further measures will be put into operation to fulfill the requirements of the environment conference of April 5, 1984 for coal and oil boilers, as well as the regulations of the TA-atmosphere for gas turbine plants.
