摘要
The 27SiMnNi2CrMoA low carbon martensite steel for the drilling rod of a heavy duty hydraulic rock drill is developed. The chemical composition of the steel together with its production technique are described. The heat treatment procedure and microstructure are presented. The experimental results show that it has high strength and high toughness under critical conditions. The drilling rod made of this steel can be strengthened and toughened by air cooling for subjecting great impact load.
