摘要
The laser is now gaining wider acceptance as a production tool alongside the machining centre and lathe. From metal cutting and drilling to welding, heat treatment and cladding, lasers are moving into mainline manufacturing and sub-contract shops. This article reports on the subject, including reasons for using lasers in various machining applications, disadvantages of application, and available equipment.
