摘要：

During the seventies the North Sea has been developed using platforms in water as deep as approximately 150 m. The fact that no fixed structure has suffered from major failure so far demonstrates that the design criteria and approaches for these structures are adequate. Considerations are made for platforms that should be located in water, 200-300 meters deep.
