Municipal solid waste (MSW) incineration has been adopted gradually in China. More attention is paid on polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDDs/PCDFs) emission from MSW incinerators. A 150 t/d MSW incinerator has been put into commercial application based on the differential density fluidized bed incineration technology introduced by Zhejiang University. The sampling and measuring methods for PCDDs/PCDFs were presented. The research results of PCDDs/PCDFs emission mechanism on a small-scale experimental device were reported. PCDDs/PCDFs emission from the 150 t/d MSW incinerator was also measured and analyzed.
