The flow sheet for a reprocessing plant has been developed which offer an active aerodynamic heating of a spent sand. Its principal units are described. The reprocessing plant is characterized by a low fuel consumption due to the heat treatment intensification, low exposure to heat treatment and small volumes of effluent gases. The realization of the process will save the expense of storing spent sands, drying power and new sand preparation.
