摘要
The process of thin liquid film meniscus evaporation on a heated surface is considered. As a result of liquid evaporation, a gradient of meniscus curvature develops, which causes the liquid to move in the direction from the 'external' film toward a thin adsorbed one. By the small parameter method, an approximate analytical solution of the problem is found, which allows to determine the characteristics of the evaporating meniscus. The results of the analysis performed are usable for developing physical models for the processes of evaporation and boiling of liquids.
