In the SOSYNAUT software system for grid automation, the following tasks are dealt with by the ″Information processing and monitoring″ section: Acceptance of the process information, identification and basic processing of the information and its entry in the data base and events buffers, monitoring of the transmission channels and the data, calculation of derived values (e. g. sums), storage and filing of data and the output of command pulse trains.
