摘要
The purpose of this paper is to review published studies dealing with the use of synthetic resins for removal of organic substances from water and to present the results of experimental studies that have been conducted to show in detail what factors affect the removal of weak aromatic acids by weak base anion exchange resins and to examine the performance of weak base resins relative to the removal of organic compounds from biologically treated municipal wastewater. The experimental data are compared with those obtained when activated carbon is used as an adsorbent.
