摘要
The confirmation of all previous evidence of the corrosion-reducing effect of slightly increased pH values is considered an essential result of these experiments. This is valid both for ammonia as well as for caustic soda at 30 and 90 degree C in the presence of 1 to 2 mg/liter oxygen. As expected, in the presence of ammonia a corrosion minimum of between pH 8 and 9 was recorded.
