摘要
With the introduction of electrocoating and with each new electrocoating innovation over the years, the claim was made that quality pretreatments were no longer necessary. Extensive lab and field evaluatons and testing procedures can be cited which reveal that quality pretreatments have been and are necessary. They often must be customized for certain paint formulations. Although low temperature pretreatments do have application with most electrocoating systems, care must be exercised in picking the right one. Even with the new bulk fastener electrocoating operations, pretreatment and post treatment selection is critical. A total system approach is advisable.
