摘要
With the appearance of low-cost solid-state sources, microwaves became a means for nondestructive testing of various materials, among others in the field of biomedical engineering. Reflection measurement techniques require means to correlate measured reflection factors with the permittivity of the material. This relationship is derived for the open-ended circular waveguide propagating the TM//0//1 mode.
