Two-photon dissociation/ionization beyond the adiabatic approximation

摘要：

This paper is aimed at establishing the range of validity of the adiabatic approximation when a final continuum is involved. An accurate theory is also developed which builds on the adiabatic approximation, which generates the exact solutions in an iterative way. It is shown that the method converges well and that it may be potentially applied to a wide range of problems.
