摘要
The author reviews the development of steels (ultrahigh-strength), aluminum alloys, titanium and composites for use as landing gear materials. He concludes that aluminum-lithium alloys, powder-based, alloys, steels stronger than 2100 MPa show great promise, as do technologies capable of improving the performance of the more traditional alloys.
