We present a technique, regions of application, and examples of experimental solution of problems relating to the optimization of friction and wear processes with the use of mathematical experiment planning methods. We shall present the technique for and examples of the solution of problems relating to experimental optimization of the friction and wear processes in the assemblies of machines and mechanisms.
