USER-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE AND MAINTENANCE TOOLS FOR DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROL.

A DDC (direct digital control)-oriented symbolic language and an engineer's console have been developed to enable plant engineers to generate and maintain the DDC software and carry out centralized tuning and monitoring for the modern monitoring and control system HIACS-3000 even during on-line plant operation. The DDC programs are prepared on a CRT screen of the engineer's console by interactive use of the DDC-oriented symbolic language in the form of functional block diagrams that are familiar to plant engineers. The programs are directly executed at high speed by high performance controllers, HISEC 04-M/L or HISEC 04-M/F. The concept and outline of the new language and consoles are described.
