State and Local regulations have extended Equal Employment Opportunity and the Government's anti-discrimination efforts to virtually all employees, employment agencies and unions. Industry is just waking up to the ramifications of these extended regulations. In fiscal 1975 alone, over 111 million in penalties were assessed for non-compliance. Yet, for all its negative ramifications, the Equal Employment Acts will not only reduce discrimination, but bring about less complacent, more effective management and business community.
