摘要：

The transition in use to new liquid insulating materials in Japan is discussed. Although, not so remarkable as in gaseous and solid materials, important changes have occurred concerning the toxicity problem of polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB). This nonflammable liquid is being replaced by low-flammable liquids in transformers and capacitors.
