SEM was employed to investigate the microstructure of Fe-Mo binary alloys containing molybdenum in the range from 20wt% to 57wt%. The results revealed that the real phases in each alloy were not the same as those in Fe-Mo binary phase diagram. The reasons for this difference were discussed.
