The electronics manufacturing services (EMS) market is growing not only in the US but also on a global scale. As demand increases in the international arena, EMS companies find themselves managing a wide range of technology capabilities and needs in diverse geographies. In this context, the strategies for managing and deploying technology to meet customer needs on a global basis, while addressing internal challenges to leadership, training and cultural differences, are explored.
