摘要
The influence of additions of up to about 0. 1 wt. % boron was studied with regard to the structure and certain mechanical properties of cast and deformed electron-beam-melted molybdenum. Boron was found to have a strong modifying effect on the macro-, micro- and substructure of the metal, and also assist in refining grain boundaries. Boron microalloying significantly raises the ductility of molybdenum, together with its strength and recrystallization point.
