摘要：

In the presence of triphenylbenzylphosphonium bromide the rate of inhibition of Armco iron corrosion in 20% phosphoric acid solution rises to more than 90%. The efficiency of this phosphonium salt as a corrosion inhibitor of iron is shown by weight loss and electrochemical methods. The latter shows that the inhibitor operates essentially by a cathodic process.
