摘要
Gravity-dependent transport phenomena, such as convection, are shown to be relevant to the cast structure formation. The effect of a horizontal statical magnetic field, which alternates these transport phenomena, on the cast structure of aluminum and various aluminum alloys (AlCu2 and AlSi1) was investigated. The results obtained by comparative metallographic micrograph evoluation are presented and discussed.
