This report describes the manufacturing process of metallurgical properties of high-strength cold-rolled steel sheets (the new CAL-HITEN series) of Nippon Ko Kan K. K. (NKK), of Japan. Produced by the company's Continuous Annealing Line Process (NKK-CAL Process), these steel sheets are classified under five different types: (1) high-bake hardenability; (2) good ductility; (3) good deep drawability; (4) low-yield ratio; and (5) low-yield ratio/high deep drawability.
