Results of a theoretical and experiemntal investigation in relative motion of the high-flow rotor of a centrifugal compressor with spatial and cylindrical blades are presented. A modified method developed at the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute has been used in profiling rotors with spatial blades. High efficiency and the wide range of operation of rotors with spatial blades makes them suitable for practical utilization.
