摘要
External wall insulation is generally a composite system made up of three basic components comprising the insulant, the fixings and the cladding, including the protective, decorative finish. The system types available in the UK are briefly described. Advances in cladding and fixing technology have resulted in major improvements in terms of performance, quality and aesthetic appearance.
