IMPROVED MAINTENANCE DATA AND TRAINING.

The development and use of an instructional delivery technique that overcomes many of the learning and job oriented application problems of untrained/unskilled technicians is discussed. The paper points out the major problems encountered by such persons using conventional techniques, what improvements are needed, and how the technique to be presented provides these improvements. The application of this technique as an instructional device and on-the-job use is described. The results obtained are based on actual work experiences on a number of different programs over a five-year period. Through the use of the technique described, it is shown that these persons can be effectively utilized with a minimum investment in both time and money.
