摘要
A study was made of the effect of adding complex fluxes on the firing temperature and properties of the ceramic. The authors used pegmetite and glass-crystalline chemically resistant enamel as the complex fluxes. The main raw material of the components consisted of clay, kaolin, alumina, bentonite, and zircon concentrate. On the basis of the resulting regression equations it was established that the firing temperature and the properties of the ceramic bodies, whose compositions come within the range of the factors studied, significantly depend on the ratio in the bodies of the components used as the complex flux (pegmatite and enamel). It is shown that the use of the newly developed zircon ceramic material would reduce the consumption of fuel per unit products as a result of the large reduction in the firing temperature.
