A mixed functional-differential equation (FDE) is that kind of an FDE, in which the derivative is taken only for one argument, representing time. The initial problem for different classes of the mixed FDE is considered in the paper. A possibility of application of the Fourier and Laplace transformations to the linear FDE is investigated. The problem on the FDE stability is studied too.
