A report is presented on the seat belt machines built by Techni Automation, an Australian company, by using Siemens' Simatic PLC. The car safety belt assembly machine is designed and build in several pre-commissioned sections. Each section of the machine has its own dedicated controller with digital and analogus units, a Profibus interface module and a TP 170 A touch panel.
