Fast-expanding competition on broadband and mobile network and other wholesale telecom market are discussed. It is expected that operators have to exit the European market in 2004 as the market have only $200 million of new business. Wholesale carrier divisions of national operators like Belagacom and TeliaSonera have reorganised and redoubled their efforts in wholesale market. Reliance group of India has pounced on FlAG Telecom, in order to secure its supply lines.
