摘要:
The paper presents a new methodology based on genetic algorithms for radial distribution network planning. The distribution networks created by this method are radial networks in nature. The special variable which is related to the network structure is selected to solve the model of optimizing distribution network annual cost. The number of the variables in the method is the same as the number of the load nodes so that the optimal process becomes efficient. In addition, the algorithm also includes the optimal selection of conductor section by marginal cost method. The result of computation example shows that the proposed method is effective.
