摘要
Together with the Saarbruecken branch of the Siemens AG company, the Saarstahl Voelklingen GmbH company has developed and implemented a new technology for the operation of gas-fired heat treating furnaces, relying on the stored programmable S5 135 U control system. A new control concept was also implemented with consideration of an optimized zonal all-round control with the most uniform possible fuel supply and purposeful utilization of the burner pulse. Also, a flexible burner arrangement was implemented with a freely selectable variable tact series, consideration of thermoelement corrections and an operator-friendly process control via a keyboard and a display screen. It is possible to connect this automation system to a superposed process computer.
