摘要
Results are reported for constant and variable accommodation coefficients. The flow in the shock-formation region and in the region downstream from it is analyzed by means of an implicit numerical solution of the governing equations; these are derived from the Navier-Stokes equations and the energy equation. The calculations were carried out for a distance downstream five times as long as the length of the shock formation region.
