High Tc superconducting meander line resonators have been successfully fabricated and characterized using off-axis RF sputtered YBa2Cu3O 7-δ films deposited on LaAlO3 substrates. We have made special test fixtures for the resonator measurements. The superconducting resonators with microstrip line structures show significant improvement in the Q-factor (15-fold at 450 MHz) over identical gold resonators. The shift of resonant frequencies with temperatures was observed up to transition temperature (Tc = 82 K). Twelve modes of resonant frequencies have been measured in the frequency range of 0.3 to 4 GHz. Input power dependence of surface resistance (Rs) was also determined.
