摘要
The theme throughout this chapter is the basic cybernetic principle of 'steering. ' First, we discuss those fundamental concepts of health that define the purposes and objectives of the health care system. Second, we look at the overall conceptual framework for the organization of such systems designed to satisfy these objectives. Finally, we discuss the crucial cybernetic role of health information systems and technology in any practical implementation of the theoretical concepts. Refs.
