Relations are presented which permit one to obtain the lift, the resistance and center of pressures of prismatic planing hulls as a function of the angle of trim, of the weight and of the angle of rise. These expressions make it possible to estimate performance both in the general case of equilibrium and in the case when all the forces pass through the center of gravity.
