A solution is presented for the problem of the behavior of the boundary configuration of an axisymmetric thin cavity behind a cavitator upwelling at a constant rate. A generalization of S. S. Grigoryan's well-known solution to the case of the presence of a gravity field is proposed. An analysis is made of the dependences of the length of the cavity, the radius of its middle section, and the cavity configuration on the cavitation and Froude numbers.
