A solution is presented to the problem of how the manner of corrugated sheet fastening affects the shear stiffness of the sheet. For various modes of sheet cross section deformation the paper establishes the flexibility and stiffness of corrugated sheet and the substitute slab shear modulus. The study covers corrugated sheets with both symmetrical and non-symmetrical corrugations, with perpendicular as well as oblique side walls. The accuracy of the theoretical solution is verified by extensive tests of corrugated sheets under various boundary conditions.
