摘要
Gallium arsenide is claimed to be the most favorable semiconductor material for superhigh frequency applications due to its unusually high electron mobility. A brief survey is presented about the application of GaAs devices in various domains of telecommunications. Diodes, transistors and optoelectronic devices are discussed.
