摘要
A new stable and accurate numerical approach using time-domain electric integral equation (TDEFIE) is presented to calculate transient scattering from arbitrarily shaped conducting bodies. The derivative of the magnetic vector potential is approximated with a central finite-difference, the scalar potential is time-averaged by dividing it into two terms, and both the scalar and vector potential terms are evaluated at the centroids of the patch. This approach combining with an implicit method produces stable and accurate results without resort to any averaging processes. Simulation results demonstrate the stability and accuracy of the approach.
