摘要
The effect of cationic surfactant (tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide) and anionic polyelectrolyte (carboxymethylchitin) in their aqueous mixtures on the stability of foams and microscopic foam films formed between two air bubbles has been studied. It is established that a strong synergistic (nonadditive) effect of these mixtures on the foam lifetime is due to the formation of nonstoichiometric water-soluble surfactant-polyelectrolyte complexes with a high adsorption activity on the air-water interface.
