Rigid-plastic isotropic plates made of materials satisfying the Johansen yield condition are considered. The considerations are confined to the cases in which the force and velocity fields in the plates are described by means of a parabolic differential equation system. The method of deriving the solutions for such plates is presented. A number of original complete solutions are given for the cases of uniformly loaded, simply supported plates of nearly rectangular shapes.
