DEFORMATION IN TYPE 304 AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL.

摘要
Development of a plastic deformation model for Type 304 stainless steel is reported. The model relates strain-rate to stress, temperature, and several internal material state variables via a set of first order differential equations. Cost advantages of this method for characterizing metal mechanical properties are discussed. Problems of applying the model to practical stress analysis tasks are investigated and discussed.
